Here is a 1 1-2" frog brooch with coordinating blue & green enamel and rhinestone colors in a goldtone setting, by Liz Claiborne (founded 1976) ca 1990s. Together with a 3 1-2"H x 4 1-2"W Spanish green (their color, printed on base) glass frog votive holder from Indiana Glass 1970s
Frogs croaking outside tonight as I type!
I love these :)
Love these little froggie pieces- the colours on both are so true to frogs especially that lovely colour of green/blue. Brooches light green eyes are so cute too
Love these Indiana Glass frog candle holders. I only see clear ones in the wild, though, but keeping my eye out for other colors. The frog brooch complements it very nicely.
They go very well together ;)
My thanks everyone for the thoughtful love

Thanks Karen for your fab comment, yes there is nothing like trying to concentrate & hearing animal noises outside the window, here we get the constant buzzing of late season locusts in the trees or stray cats having a growling & hissing fight. That's the great thing about glass animals there is no back talk lol! Glad you enjoyed my frog pair
Thank you Lauren for the wonderful compliments on these frogs, the colors are really nice here I agree, always good to find some natural green in frog pieces although as you know I've explored the color spectrum with past frogs! The brooch was a recent find and nice surprise with the variety of blue & green coloring, it's a rare one I have never seen before
Many thanks six-0-one for the lovely praise and I must concur about Liz Claiborne, I have enjoyed her pieces since the 70s-80s such as my first seahorse, she has always been very stylish from her clothing to jewelry. I found a couple more of her vintage figural brooches for future posts I hope you will like
Kevin thank you so much for your great compliments about this pair, I had the frog votive for awhile but won the brooch on auction recently so I thought they complemented each other very well. By the way you have several wonderful glass votives, if I recall a polar bear, turtle and cat among them, many by Indiana Glass - it's funny, that company produced many glass items but I've only found animals in their votive holders you know
Thank you MrsT for the very kind compliment, I'm glad I did well with this frog matchup - it's sorta funny that the brooch appears to be climbing on the back of the glass frog, those splayed rhinestone toes look perfect for grabbing onto something lol!
Thanks Cokeman & Bruce for loving my frog throw together here, two croakers that seemed to belong together! Always greatly appreciated guys
Sincere thanks Penny for loving my frog combo, I am delighted that you liked them, think I went for amusement here with the little frog climbing onto its mom, it was nice to find both in 'frog green' :)
Thank you Sean for the very kind love and appreciation, glad you enjoyed this two part frog post
Many thanks all for the kind love
