Hard to find Monot Stumpf circa 1900 opalescent striped cranberry bowl. It is made on a small pedestal foot with a polished pontil. There is a slight twist in the pale stripes around the bowl's circumference. The rim is cut and polished smooth and faceted. Height is 5 cms tall and width is a little over 11 cms. The pedestal foot is just over 6 cms diameter. I love how this French [Paris] firm used opalescence in their glass as an essential element in their design. Soft cranberry pastel shade which graduates in intensity from bottom to the top. A lovely little trinket which I was lucky to purchase on-line.
