If only I had the under-plate to this I would be very happy. Didn't know what it was when I purchased it on-line in England but it did pass the eye test and I thought it was old - circa 1900. Lovely cranberry striped opalescence featured in vertical pastel ribs with flutes on the top. There is an opal solid pedestal foot with a smooth polished pontil. Height is 8 cms and diameter across the top is 13.5 cms. I have seen the dish and the plate for sale on-line, but it is out of my price range for the moment. Well, I have a significant part of it, so I must be happy with that!
