Hand painted Donkey

Does anyone maybe have any information about this beautiful donkey.

I inherited it from my grandmother. The Donkey is about 18 inches high and in mint condition. No chips on cracks.

I believe it is called a Donkey basket planter but she never ever planted something in the baskets.
