This is a recent purchase via thrifting at a pawn shop.....I was drawn to it because of the large stone size and it also reminds me of the pics of Art Deco jewelry and the type of ring fit for a Queen.....its sterling silver , it has 34 small pin point sized stones on the sides....(pave diamonds).....the large stone in the center with a multi-diamond styled cut on the surface...I've not seen this style of cut, but then again I'm not real familiar with diamond, gem stone cuts etc....it has no flashes of color as with Moissanite stones.....it was quite cloudy looking when I purchased it...but after a little cleaning with soda, vinegar, dawn , hot water and a tooth brush....it is now a clear stone....(possibly white sapphire?)......I saw a ring similar to this one at a Thrift store about a month ago, and I didn't purchase it...then I thought about the YouTube video about a woman in England who wore a ring for years she thought was just costume jewelry that she had purchased from a flee market....but later discovered that it was a real diamond worth approx. $500,000....or so.....that is a great story!
It appears to be a fine Art Deco ring, congrats on finding this gem !~
I did find out that the small pin point stones are actually real diamonds.....the multi diamond cut as I called is....is actually called a rose cut
