Sterling Mikimoto brooch

So, I went by the thrift store a couple of weeks ago and was going through the dollar box. I saw this piece and picked it up and noticed the tiny hallmarks on back. I did not know the hallmarks, but figured for a dollar, it might be worth it. Once I got home and started researching, I found out that they were hallmarks for Mikimoto sterling. I was very pleased as I was familiar with Mikimoto brand pearls as we used to sell them at the jewelry store I worked for.
