This is a 2 1-4"L grape cluster brooch & matching 1" clip earrings, with deep amethyst rhinestones and goldtone grape leaves. All pieces marked Napier (founded early 20th century) ca 1960s

Very nice- I love the beautiful rich purple which under certain condition(my pc!) looks like a lovely rich brown. That too would be a lovely seasonal colour for these but the purple reminds me of some mulled wine maybe-something else seasonal this time of year! :P

Thank you Lauren for the lovely compliments, these stones are certainly a deep purple hue and came out dark even under lights - except I did try not to over-light the pix because those golden grape leaves are quite bright & shiny. Thought that grapes were kinda holiday table related, here in the US we start celebrating from now thru the New Year esp with food, unfortunately though in these times there are less gatherings & restaurant meals, it is really somber but we have to hope it won't go on forever
Thanks six-0-one for your great compliments on this Napier set, found this years ago & thought the delicate grape bunch earrings were so cute with the brooch. Have also seen the brooch in all goldtone and sterling silver - they made the grapes into little soldered metal beads on those, of course I much prefer the colored rhinestones

Thanks Phil for the fabulous praise, yes Napier always set their stones carefully & that could be why in the 60s they were one of the most popular jewelry co's - they are usually thought of as making trendy modern styles but if you look around they had some wonderful rhinestone pieces
