Bought this in an antique store.. no info, lady said it was minimum 80 years old.. anyone seen these types or have any idea of what kind of knife it might be? the mark on the blade seems to say "WDM"

I am not sure if it is 80 years old but I like it. Has rust which means it is carbon steel and will hold an edge.

Very Nice looking Knife. Here is what i see when i look at it, Probably NOT China, and or India, as it is NOT marked as such. Full Tang with 3 Pins, in a Bowie Blade Style, with a Walnut Handle, which is Excellent. If it was indeed made 80 years ago, you could also make an argument, that the US Military (WW2), was SHORT on Combat Fighting Knives, and allot of Companies, Old, and New, Tried to help make up for the Shortage. SO, the bottom line, is to Work Your Money Mark, aka, your so called "WDM" mark, with a wire brush, and chalk, or lead, to get a correct Makers Name, then you will know its Company Roots and History.

      Good Luck,
