Here is a 3 1-4"H x 4"W indigo blue glass horse or foal with hand painted white glitter and smile face daisy, signed by Scott Fenton with orig Fenton Glass label. This was a 90s reissue of item #5057, original design from 1978-1980
that a pretty fenton horse ... signed and all /..nice score..later
Daisy on her flank is very cute- makes me think she's a flower power pony of some sort really! :P Very adorable pose on her too- I can see her sitting in a paddock amongst real daisies!
Very pretty little Fenton foal!!
This is a really nice one, Jenni! These horses are my second favorite Fenton Glass animal, next to the Alley Cat....
Such a cool blue, different to most.
I think it's so neat that Fenton liked to paint on their animals just to increase the beauty quotient.
Pretty piece!
With thanks to all for the love

Thank you so much Alfred for your great compliments, this was a nice horse design by Fenton & it's always a bonus to find one signed by a family member. Too bad the co closed in 2012, they were still designing pretty animals & doing lovely reissues up to the end
Lauren isn't that a cool painted daisy with the smiley face core, makes it very sweet & cheerful. Now I am picturing this horse sitting in a field of daisies, what a lovely image, esp since it is early winter here & all the flowers have gone. Thank you for your always super compliments
Thanks Scott for the lovely compliment, I agree this is more foal looking by its pose, Fenton couldn't decide if the name was horse or foal so this design has been called both, either way quite the cutie
Kevin thanks for your wonderful comment, glad this is one of your fave Fenton designs. The Alley Cat has such an adorable amusing look on its face, reminds me of The Aristocats, but wow as a rare collectable the prices are so steep
Thanks Karen for your fabulous praise and I LOVE this blue, Fenton called this indigo but on my raccoon I think they called it midnight, either way it's such a pretty & soothing deep blue shade. The painted touches on their animals were really cool & quite varied - they turned one of their regular cats into a cheetah in one case - and I think this glitter is very festive and fits in with holiday decor
MrsT thank you for the lovely compliment & I am truly happy you liked this horse and thought it pretty as do I. You know I have many glass horses but it is always a joy to find a new pretty one to join the "stable" :)
