The cement still wet ,from the morning hose down
Smelled like damp Oyster Shells
I didn’t have a way to carry
everybody’s Poboy and they’re
cold drinks back to the job site
only if somebody would
invent a six pack

Those are some swell carbonation container carriers you got there, Vynil!
WOW! I haven't seen one of those plastic Coca-Cola roll-up mats in years!
For those who wonder,
these were attached to a wall where six-packs were on display.
As they stacked a row of cartons, they'd unroll this mat to lay the next row upon.
When you removed a carton, this tightly-rolled plastic mat would retract to the next carton in line.
As kids, we loved grabbing and unrolling them, then letting them snap back loudly against the wall. Store managers didn't like that so much.

I think that is where name fruit roll ups came from
because somebody said ,leave the manager alone
