    Found this today, The Maritime Copper Knife, Same inscriptions as what I believe is a ships spike. From the estate of a war war 2 Navy veteran. UPDATE::: UPDATE::::::: UPDATE::::::::: The Family Stated they Really have no Interest in These.. I Know Right. Well I am Trying to get Any Information i can about The The French Frigate Sail ship These Came from. I Also Have The 1944 C.B.M.U. Unit Book. Which i have Read several times in the last Few days trying to Find any information . The Unit was Activated in 1943 and after Training they were on their way to Island X, Were they would assist Maintenance Unit 536 in the Construction and Building of The Head Quarters for the United States Military In the South Pacific. "NOUMEA HARBOR". So The Book Puts the Guys their But i want to try and find out Why The French Frigate sail ship SCUTTLED in 1865. Any Help with This French Sail ship L-AUBE would be Greatly Appreciated.

      Blunderbuss2 Could be used as one, But i truly Believe it's a real Peice of History. documents show the Unit CBMU 537 was at Noumea Harbor in 5-20-44. The gentlemen served in The Navy where these came from. I Wished i had the Chance to talk to Him . But we found his Keepsakes in the Garage in a Bottom Drawer of a Cabinet.
