This 2 1-2" Maltese cross brooch has a Renaissance design with glowing frosted blue glass cabochons and faux pearls in a filigreed antique silvertone setting. Made by Emmons (1949-1981), a sister company of Sarah Coventry founded by Charles Stuart. The copyright mark dates this piece from 1969 and named Misty Blue

MrsT thank you very much for your really great compliment, I too thought those blue glass stones were pretty amazing, sort of have an underlit pool appearance you know. Your opinion is always treasured by me :)
Scott what a wonderful gracious compliment, warmest thanks to you! When I get such kind praise from you I know I'm on the right track, this is an unusual piece but I think the illumination is so nice
You are so right six-0-one about Emmons being a trendsetter, the pieces of theirs I've seen were always very original like this one. About Monet, I love them too and am hoping to work on getting a few more for my collection, they are often underrated. Thank you my friend for your superlative comment as always, it means a great deal to me
Thanks Mary for the love and kind consideration, I'm very pleased that you liked this blue cab Emmons piece, it was nice to find something out of the ordinary
Really glad that you liked this piece Karen & totally appreciate the love, these blue stones are pretty unique and I'm so pleased that this design appealed to you
I own and run the largest Facebook group related to Sarah Coventry and Emmons jewelry (sister companies) and can identify that pin for you as MISTY BLUE from 1969.
Huffstutler thank you for your great informative comment & I have updated the description accordingly
Appreciate the thoughtful love all
