Yes, it has been in the same family for 76 years! It has seen 3 generations of pianists learn on it and become master musicians. Many a year has seen mother/daughter duets. Little boys toiling at trying to reach an octave with one hand. Correct positioning of the hands, not resting on the wood. It has seen 4 houses in all these years. Currently it resides at the same home for 34 years. Since June 2013, it has accompanied 26 hymn sings. I have kept it tuned up. I don’t have the receipt for 2018 but the same man tuned it then also. Solid wood. Original finish. Kept up with Weiman’s Lemon Oil. Makes a nice vintage piece of furniture. Original ivory though chipped in a few places. Cover that slides open and closed has lost a brass knob but I just saw recently it is available at Amazon But then, what ISN’T?
