the case is engraved on the outside Presented To William Young Canadian Walter wieght Champion 1908. My wifes grandfather owned a hotel on Queen st west in Toronto in the 1900's and possibly got it there inlieu of money .Any help would be great Thank you
I took a quick tour to google and found that Regina and Omega are the same company, Omega having bought out Regina. The web site I went to listed this watch to be made between 1923 and 1927. Here is the link......I didn't go very deep.

Interesting watch. Get a copy of The Complete Price Guide to Watches, Gilbert/Shugart. P. 536 (depending on the age of the book). Most of these say L. Brandt & Freres SA on the movement but I have seen Omega and Regina. Mostly used in Canada and approved for railway use there. They came in different grades:
23J DDR (highest grade)
19J DR
23J CCCR
19J CCR
The case is 14K rolled gold (plate, not solid) by the American Watch Case Co. of Toronto.
