Powder-pink boughs, bedighted by spun glass tanagers and peacocks, mercury glass baubles, Victorian etuis, and annealed-legged fellows, are surrounded by carolling spectators: brown-bearded gnomes, knee-hugging elves, toy soldiers, and Santa Claus.

Baby Yoda, feriating in his grey pram, entertains a viatorial alpinist who, through room-temperature air, with her weary cloth body and felt ensemble, traversed the lands of bisque. At varying altitudes, though, the festivities accend—my large-eared Carl Schneider character doll, bearing an anadem of metallic bulbs, gazes upon my golden-brown Steiff bear, lackadaisically lounging and fraternising with Bonzo the dog and a cerulean-eyed mignonette doll.

The buccinal-throated Erzgebirge angels and jingling De Carlini figural ornaments part the season's hoary herd of flocculent clouds shepherded by the rain, through which day's hyaline harp peers, enrobing my dwelling in a thermal tone of wintry cheer.
