I found this beautiful glass lamp at a junk store last year. There was just something about it. I got it for little to nothing. It looks to be a blown glass, etched flower design. I was surprised to see the date, I would not of guessed it so old. The shade is a wonderful addition to it. It is not original, I took that from another old lamp. But liked it for this one more.
Nice. That is pretty old for an electric lamp. I love lamps. I like making little pools of light around a room with them. I average 4-5 lamps in each room of my house, not counting chandeliers. You can track my progress through my house from outside as I go from lamp to lamp turning them on at dusk. I wish I had more rooms because I have some really great lamps in storage and no place to put them. They are like sculptures.
That is just so wonderful! To find others with such a passion for beauty. Thank you for sharing that. I too love many lamps. I have many in each room myself! I do occasionally get criticism from family.
