Black Walnut Floor Lamp c1911 with Canadian Belter type chair. c1865

Tried to get the lamp alone but looked to long and thin , and they look good together. The 3rd image is the pull switch ball which clearly shows the patent date from 1911. The Bakelite finial is original to the lamp ,and I love it ! The turning (s) originally drew me to this lamp which was very dilapidated in the flea market. The chair is very unusual in Canadian furniture being constructed with the ply back a la "Belter" U.S chairs. In this case 5 ply Maple which originally was gilded. Circa 1950 the gold was removed apparently following wear of the armrests. Traces do remain though. The upholstery was made by a family member at the time .It was not sat in again with a cord across the arms. A label was lost during this work and all that was recalled was Berlin Ontario now Kitchener.
