    Found in NC with a detector. Any ideas? It looks like it could be Military but I cannot find anything about it. On the back it says extra rich plated. Thanks for any help!

      Looks to be a pre- Civil War eagle button for the US Army.

      Believe it is War of 1812 era, but I don't have my button books handy.

      If you do online searches for "one piece eagle button"-- you should find a resource and your button.
