I have looked on AbeBooks and Ebay but can not find a comparable to these. I picked for $2@ at a Telluride Library Book sale, wondering if any value. They are in french. Thank you for your help!

      Dear Mewaycool,
Looking at your pictures I think some mice loved these two books too. The 2 books belong to a series of 3 volumes, La Grande Ville, or The Big City, written by Paul de Cock and issued in Brussels in 1843. In impeccable state the value for the complete series is around US$ 200. Your two copies are former library items, so not really loved by book-collectors. And as the series is not complete I should say the value is around US$ 20 for the two books together. So the investment was OK.

      best, Archives.
