Trying to identify where this button came from. We believe that it came from a uniform from my great grandfather (died 1922) he immigrated from Sweden and we have heard that he worked for the rail road. Any help would be appreciated.
c c sporrong co stockholm made the button but even with that I can’t find anything. It has the crossed hammers and the Mars and Venus symbols.

    Thanks

I think it's rather ment to be the signs for iron and copper, commonly mined in Sweden. Could be the crest of a Swedish town.

here you go: The emblem of the "Bergslagernas Railroad Company". Bergslagen is a district in mid-west Sweden.

Bergslagen is famous for its mines, Iron and Copper. Hence the symbols.

Thank you for the info. I really appreciate it. With this info I was able to deduce that the photos I thought were of my Great Grandfather were actually from my Great Great Grandfather on the other side of the family. Thanks
