It's a set of two. It appears to be a hand-carved frame with an upholstered body. The arms curve up and over rather than out and the front of the seat is heart shaped with ruching. My mother-in-law acquired them in the 40s but I can't find a maker anywhere visible. Any input would be appreciated!
