Went to my first Pickers Sale today. I didn’t know how things worked but still managed to pick up some nice MCM lamps at very good prices. That Art Deco floor lamp is going to be a learning experience. It is chrome, not brass. And it has an art glass night light in the base. Will tackle cleaning it tomorrow. If anyone has any info on any of these lamps (like maker), I would appreciate it. What do you think of these finds?
Nice score! Interesting selection of lamps. Ample opportunity for restoration/cleaning and research. There are some serious lamp junkies on CW, so I am sure you will get some input. I have quite a few collectible lamps, but am not a serious collector, just like well made stuff.
LOL. Me too. I pick them up first, and if they’re heavy, I explore further. Lightweight, newer lamps just don’t cut it.
