A recent on-line purchase from England. Circa 1900 - 10. Heavy, thick glass with solid applied pad foot. Polished pontil with some scale remaining from iron pontil rod. The top ruffles have been cut with glass-maker's shears. Stones and furnace ash in the glass. Faint optic ribbing with a suggestion of opalescence. Streaks and swirls present. Glows brightly under a black light. Dimensions are 17 cms across widest point at top and 10 cms high.
