This is the forth Victorian tazza in my collection. Recently purchased on-line in England. Last 15 years of 19th century? 19 cms across the top and 13 cms tall. The cranberry bowl is approx. 4 cms deep. The diameter of the crystal pedestal foot is a tad over 11 cms. There is a polished pontil. The colour is a rich cranberry and displays very well when placed on a table under a light source. You will find variations in the shape of the stem, depth of the bowl and its width. They were designed as commercial items to hold a variety of edibles but you have to agree, that in themselves, they are food for the eyes as well.
