A very old Cincinnati Safe Co safe. It is about 3ft high. Just looking to get some information on it, can't really find a whole lot on the internet. Thank you very much.

I don't have any info for you , but I would love to have one of those !!!!
it is very cool looking... I don't have the combo for it and it looks like it's been around for a long time. I did read somewhere that they prob shouldn't be used for safekeeping since they are prob easier to get into now than way back when. We just rented a house and this thing was in the garage (which at one time was used for a fabricating shop) with cancelled checks dating back to the early 60's. The guy who owns the house said if we wanted to sell it, go ahead. So once I get some info on what its worth, I'll prob be looking to sell it. It is very massive... it's on wheels and I still can't move it. I want to move it away from the wall so I can get a look at the plate on the back (somewhere I read that there is a plate on it). Thanks for your interest in it. Keep watching any posts on info on it. ;)
I have one similar, but in working condition and from the 1880's. Although you are correct they aren't once they once were, any safe older than 50 years old doesn't meet today's safe standards. This style safe is for documents and if yours is like mine it has smaller compartments for a little jewelry or cash and coin collection. In working order, I have seen these go for as high as a $2,500.00 and even triple that if properly restored. Just like anything else, it is worth what you can get for it. That's about all I know, sorry it couldn't be more. Good luck and even in the current non-working condition, I would not sell for less than $400-$500. I know what I have been offered, so there is a market, you just have to find the right buyer.
