another old suitcase

Here's another old suitcase, this one has no markings or tags to suggest who made it. In a sorta tweed exterior with leather trimmed edges and a plastic handle, its interior is pink satin with pouches and pockets, featuring a two-piece foldable metal contraption inside its lid. I don't know how to use that part (at a glance) but suppose it was one more kind of mechanism intended to keep garments in order while traveling.
