    Unusual "Horse and Rider" effigy. Likely made around 1750 thru 1778.Blacksmith made. Great detail. Note the Phryingian knit cap and the style of the saddle.

      If made between the stated dates of 1750 and 1778, that would mean it was made in 18th Century (not 16th Century).
