Here are four vintage paperbacks from the great British novelist Graham Greene. The first is the 1950 Bantam edition of the "The Third Man," with Joseph Cotton and Valli from the film pictured on the cover. The second is "Orient Express," one of Greene's most successful early suspense novels. This edition was published under the Bantam Mystery imprint in 1955. This edition of "England Made Me" was published by Pan Books in 1954. Pan began in the 1940s and specialized in paperbacks with eye-catching covers. Finally, the edition of "The Confidential Agent" was published by Bantam in 1958.
My guess is that none of these books are worth more than the two or three dollars I paid for them. But I think they look great and I'm happy to have them in my library.
