I don't know if these are old or modern but they look art nouveau in style, especially the pastel pink / cranberry colour and the crimped top. There is no discernible pontil but they are not pressed. There are a series of faint concentric circles where the pontil should be. The base is slightly concave. There is optic ribbing running vertically from the ruffles to the bottom. The solid foot appears to be clear glass. 24.5 cms tall while the base is 9.5 cms wide.

These are Czechoslovakian, dating from the 1970s era. Sometimes seen with transfer printed decoration (I owned one in pale green with blue floral design) & a sticker reading "Bohemian Glass". This pair in pink is very nice, & would work well with Victorian glass.

Thanks, IronLace, for that information about these vases. I agree - they do fit in with the older items and don't look out of place on top of the cabinet. Will be posting more glass shortly - a mix of the old and modern.

They certainly fit the earlier glass. So pretty.

racer4four, great shade of pink and graceful shape. Blind Freddy would be pleased to them!
