Books but what are they ?

I have had these books for over 18mths i found them in a local auction room they were in a box on there own and were virtually the last items in the sale so i brought them ,took home and lost them in the house ,have found them again , I have no idea what they are or what language they are in so any help to identify them and there origin would be greatly appreciated.
