Here is another blue Loetz that arrived in the last few weeks (from Cyprus!), but this time it is a beautiful soft periwinkle blue with white. This Ausf 166 is in perfect condition, and measures 7-1/2" (19cm) tall. It is unmarked, and very similar in shape to PNIII-355, but without the ball between the base of the body and the foot. Edited: Thanks to Warren, this is actually PNIII-895. Image 4, courtesy of Warren, from the back of the Musterschnitte.

Hi Michelle- this is PN III-895. I posted a photo of the shape in the FB Art Glass Collectors group. The paper pattern isn’t published in Ricke II, but there is a group photo in the back of the book that shows a bunch of Ausf 166, and the shape numbers are written below each one. This one is indicated as #895. :)

Thanks so much Warren! I am glad to have this information; I saw the photo you posted. I thought it might be an other PN, but wasn’t sure!

      This baby looks new born!
I love the simple lines and the complexity added by the colours and spiral.
      Great glass as usual Michelle.

Thank you Karen - I really appreciate it. It does look like it was never used! :)
