I found this Vintage Schwinn 1950's Women's Bicycle along with a matching Men's bike. I just sold them on Craig's list, but would have loved to keep them and restore them. They are going to a good home though to be restored and brought back to their original beauty. Can't wait to see a picture.

I'm loving this one just the way it is! Was the men's bike this nice? Picture? How much did you get for them?

Actually, this looks good enough that I wouldn't restore it. A thorough cleaning and waxing, a bit of rust removal, maybe what might be considered semi-restoration might be in order, but the original paint looks good from here.

Much more character this way. It's only original once. Nice survivor, it'd be a shame to make it look factory fresh i.e. Made in China. A pic of it with the men's bike would be nice.

I'll get a pic of the men's bike up. Having a little trouble with my bloggie uploading. The men's bike is not quite this good, but guys are always rougher on their stuff. Sold the pair for 350. The guy that bought them used to do body work so not sure what he will do. He is picking them up next weekend.

I just realized that I didn't mention that these bikes actually came from Mexico. They have the license tags still on them 1952. They belonged to a boy and girl that grew up together and had them as children. They later married. Isn't that cool.
