Or I should call it a Scarf and Bombadier Googles
Nice occupation souvenir item-- I really like it.
On the goggles, what makes them bomber goggles vs. welding goggles?
Thanks,
Scott
At first I thought they were welding goggles myself but came across a pair just like them listed as Bomdadier Goggles, so I guess it's my mystery.
Were they listed on ebay or similar auction or selling site OR were they listed on a WW2 information site?

I have seen them represented that way before-- doesn't make it correct, but it does make them more attractive and pricier than "welding goggles!

Thanks for the info Scott either way, they look pretty cool and I'll look into more of what they might be.
I regularly see FAKES, REPRODUCTIONS, and GARBAGE identified as a RARE, or unusual item on ebay.
Mistakes abound, and I see buyers for these same items.
Remember, anyone can sell on ebay and the description may be based off of facts, rumors, a guess, or it may be deceptive. Sellers are out to make money.
I don't know what category this ebay item falls into, but the goggles resemble welding goggles-- they do not look like any known WW2 flight goggles.

I think I gave .25 cents for them so which ever way they go, pretty cool. I tend to notice how people list on e-bay, WW2 items are just not my area, yet I do have a few cool items.
For a quarter, they were a good buy!
The hankee is a nice souvenir item-- was it priced the same?
No I paid $15 for it
