This is my antique trunk that I just purchased. It is in excellent condition, never refinished. It seems to have been made between 1880 - 1915, possibly manufactured by Rich, Reed & Atwood of Boston. It has the number 3005 stamped on one of the original leather handle.

Nice flat top trunk. The numbers on the handle were probably parts numbers for the manufacturer.
