i found this beaut yesterday at one of my favorite segundas here in the east bay. I looked them up online and got conflicting stories about the history of the Petz company, but i believe this bear to be from the 1930s, 40s or 50s. He has no soundbox or growler and he's a little different than any of the others i saw online - mainly his upturned face/chin. I know it's mohair, cuz he's got mo hair than me!! haha!
Petz bears are really cute. I have a miniature one. :)
