This rug has been in our family since at least the 1940's. The rug may be older. My grandmothers friend spent time in the Philippines back then & as I recall, brought the rug back to the States. Late in her life, the friend gave it to my grandmother, who gave it to my mother. The rug was used in our living room when I was pre-teen. Then the house was carpeted and the rug stored, to this day.
The rug is approximately 3/4 inch thick and very heavy. It is firm but comfortable to the touch & to walk on.
Mom has passed recently and the family needs to understand what we have. Thanks in advance.
