Hello everyone!!
Here's another of my Harrison Cady Peter Rabbits. This one is full bodied and made of cast iron. It's hollow, but quite heavy. I've always liked the Beatrix Potter version of Peter Rabbit, but this Harrison Cady version of Peter Rabbit is my absolute favorite. Harrison Cady illustrated his early 1900's version as a very jolly looking Peter Rabbit in all of the Thornton W. Burgess children's books. This one measures approximately 9" tall, 4 7/8" wide and 5 7/8" front to back and weighs about 8lbs
Thanks for stopping in for a look at Peter Rabbit!!

He's totally adorable, from those eyes to his chubby body, what a fabulous Peter and his colors are perfect!
Jenni,
Thanks so very much!! I have collected several of these Peter Rabbits over the years, from cast iron, paper Mache', cast aluminum and composite. All of them slightly different in color from one another.

Eileen,
Thank you so much!! The only Uncle Billy Possum toy, that I've ever been aware of, was produced in Germany by Steiff back in the early 1990's. I don't have one, mainly because they command such a high price. Maybe one day though.
sir rabbit!
Hi KinkiPlz!
