This photo was taken in 1940. The drawing was made from the photo. I would like to know anything about this chair (category, manufacturer, etc.). I think it is an unusual variation of the Windsor low-back chair, but am not sure. Any help would be appreciated.
I'd say no to a Windsor chair. I suggest you have a 'corner chair'.
Some sources claim this design was to accommodate a man wearing a sword. Google that term and you will see what I mean.
The barley-twist turned legs are very nice. The front leg is a bit plain to my eye, so I'm thinking a later piece.
There are elements that remind me of a 'captain's chair', originally a low-backed wooden armchair.
Perhaps it's a combo of both those ideas.
The arms curve in, rather than out and the slats at the back look well done too!

Many thanks, Vetraio50. You are right. "corner chair" rather than "Windsor low-back chair" is the ID phrase I needed to find examples in Google-Images. Hundreds of them!! My grandmother owned this chair in the 1940s, but, sadly, it is long gone. Maybe, someday, I will spot it on eBay.
