I recieves this decorative plate for my grandmother's estate. I tried to look it up to learn more about it but could not find a picture that resembled this Mark. I am new to this and this is the first time I've really tried to research antiques other than artwork so any help would be greatly appreciated. So far I've only found one reference saying it is very similar to a well-known Mark of a porcelain maker. It is 15 in wide and my grandmother had it hanging on the wall for as long as I can remember.

The first place I look for Japanese porcelain is the site gotheborg.com. This site lists back stamps for many Chinese and Japanese makers.
I narrowed the search to Arita porcelain and after looking through the stamps found a similar stamp for Dai Ichi Toki (number 515, 614) see here: http://www.gotheborg.com/marks/20thcenturyjapan.shtml#arita
These date from the 1970s and you will see a similar but different plate at 614 with chrysanthemums and a covering patter.
it's lovely and I hope you keep it in memory of her!
