    Hi there,
Looking for help in identifying this little piece of transferware we found while digging holes for planting shrubs in the yard. Looks like a piece of a plate, with green transferware design. The long side is 2". We'd love to be able to identify the pattern or at least know a little more about this style of plate. Thanks for any help!

Looks like a jolly Englishman to me. A Quaker? Look at his hair.

if it's not that old, it might be Tepco. They made stuf like this too.

Thanks for the tips! I think it's probably not too old; our house was built in the 1950s and it was just farmland or woods before that. Possibly that area of our yard was once used for trash, since we have also found some glass bits that could be old beer bottle pieces.
