Hi! I don't know if i'm in the right place but I'm looking for someone who can identifie this doll. I have this for at least 16 years. The clithes are not original, she came dressed originally with a short, simple golden dress, pink shoes and the pink earings attached. I'm looking for this same doll in the original version.
Can someone offer help? Thank you!
Who is she made by ? what are markings on her back and neck ?
On the back of her head is written "Mattel Inc. 1999" and on her back "Betty"
Can I see markings please where it says Betty ?
How tall also ?
Sure, I'll add another photo with her back
I don't know if you can see the markings, also I replaced her hair a while ago (I don't know if it makes her harder to find)
Her original hair is the one in the first photo
Thanks the body helped me . I thought she was a Betty Crocker Barbie and body and name confirmed it . She is a Ballerina that was sold by Betty Crocker when they teamed up with Mattel for a promotion.

They had variations of her. I believe she is one of the promotion dolls .
Scratch that no it is not her . I really am thinking she is a marriage of 2parts . Her head may not be original to body it could have been swapped . Just a thought
Thanks for the information! But I just searched there and I couldn't find it... If it helps: this one is made of a cheap plastic. If I could, I would have made a video of it. I don't know where else to look for it
Yes! The head is made of something else and it kind of has a different collor than the body
But it came like this, with a different head, I didn't change it
Did you get her new ? I still question if you didn't get her new that her head was put on this body because something happened to her ? If you scroll she has the Betty Crocker body ,yours just has all the paint off it . Do her feet point down like a ballerina ?
Yes, I got her new. I saw that she has the Betty Crocker body but the head is different. Yes, her feet point down like a ballerina and are very simple made but I remember the shoes were pink and nothing like a ballerina
Betty Crocker had a few different Mattel Barbie's all had that body . If you received her new I wonder if Mattel didn't have spare heads like hers and put them on Betty Crocker bodies . She is a puzzle for sure .
So there's no chance I can find her? Like a new one?
If there is one there has to be another :-)
This gave me so much hope! Thank you!
