    I too have one of those Dimes from 200?D mintmark. I too believe it is a error cause it seems like there quite a few out there in different states. I'm in Texas.

      No, not an error, instead a coin that has been "spooned" (look that up) or has otherwise spent time rolling around inside a clothes dryer's guts. Many similar coins have been posted here at CW already, this is always the consensus.

      Listen to Anythingobscure. Even with blurry pictures it is obviously a failed attempt at spooning it. That is why there are so many floating around. Newer coins don't spoon well.

      I agree with the 2 prior remarks. I have several of these coins and they are not error coins. They have been altered by spooning or being rotated in the inner parts of a dryer.
