Help need to identify this blade ? I picked this up the other week thinking it was some kind of cut-throat razor that Iv never seen before to add to my collection of over 200 that I have on display but when I had a good look I just don’t know. What I do know is it comes from Clonmel in Island and has the name Bradford on it a Mr Samuel Bradford was a cutler in Clonmel and had the longest running cutlers in the U.K. dating back to 1646. The blade isn’t that old probably around 1840s as it’s got cutlers to Prince Albert
What I’m trying to find out is what type of blade is it and what dose the complete blade look like as it has a bit missing well it must be missing as the handle of the blade folds over to the top of it and leave the sharp blade open. And when the handle is open it locks into place.
So any ideas?
Thanks Ozzie
