Me and my ex-husband bought this house in 1998. The one thing was it beside his parents home, and we knew the lady that owned it before passing away, her name was Maxie, a very lovely lady. As a matter of fact when she was sick I stayed the last 2 day and nights with her in this house, then we got her to go to the hospital. She never got well enough to come back home and her family had to place her in a nursing home, where she stayed when she passed away.

Her family put her home up for sale. With a few things left in it they didn't want, and the stove was one of them. It is a gas Magic Chef range. And we still use it today. One thing about it is you have to light the oven with a match. It's not tore up that is the way it was made. The broiler swings out to the right, instead of pulling down. I don't know when it was made, but I am guessing the 50's.

I would love to know when they made this model.
