    Something I found, not sure if it is possibly a type of tomahawk or a welders chipping hammer. There is some native American history in the area I found it and also a lot of welding dating back to the 30's. The fact it doesn't have a hole for a handle makes me think it would have been a split handle tied to it. Any thoughts would be appreciated as I can't find any other examples of it. One thing I did think is that it could have been forged from a railroad spike.

      could be a blacksmith made tool that was misplaced before the smith formed the handle hole.
