    Hello!

I just picked up this beauty and thought I’d be able to find similar ones online. However, I can’t find anything at all, not even close. Does anyone know what culture this is from or what kind of doll she is? I’m dying to know! Thank you very much!!

I believe she is dressed in Chinese traditional clothes . Maybe someone can come along that is more familiar with Asian clothes . Japan is always associated with these type of dolls . They were tourist dolls. Beautiful I can't be sure of maker or country of origin.

Chinese. Representing the traditional dress of the Han dynasty. She is holding a Ruyi, or Chinese septer. She is a young royal, possibly an immortal.

"Ruyi is a curved decorative object that serves as either a ceremonial scepter in Chinese Buddhism or a talisman symbolizing power and good fortune in Chinese folklore. A traditional ruyi has a long S-shaped handle and a head fashioned like a fist, cloud, or lingzhi mushroom."

Her hair is a variation of the 'Double Immortal Seeking' or the Flying Immortal hairstyle of Tang Dynasty. I can't find one with three loops.

She is also wearing the traditional Cloud Shoulder of Han Costumes.

I might have my dynasties mixed up! EVERYTHING in Chinese culture is symbolic of something. She is very pretty!
