      Two things. First we need to know what type cutlery the mark is on? Pocket knife? Dagger? Sword? Steak knife? Show the entire thing please.

      Second: Being marked Solingen does not mean it was produced in Germany. It simply indicates the steel is from Solingen. The item may have been made in Mexico, Canada or half a dozen other places. That fact makes it important to know what the item is. It makes research easier and more accurate.
