The "CLIMAX GATE". One of my favorite gate models. Dimensions 12"x29"x6". There is a burn on the left side. Bet it has a story to tell. Patented by Edwin J. Hart of Butler, PA December 14, 1880, patent no. 235,358. The gate tilts to clear obstructions in its path and has holes in the cam rail that allowed it to be pinned at a given height.
