I inherited this doll about 35 years ago, along with the dresser that she resided in. She has been cracked, with part of her face missing my whole life. How old is she? I am beginning to simplify and divest. Where do antique, cracked dolls go to live out their lives? Is something like this collectable? Any guesses as to age?

She is a early German China doll in Covered Wagon hairstyle . There are people that will repair these dolls and are quite good . So she is sellable or have her restored . She is appx 1850s, manufactured in Germany likely by A.W. Kister. I would want her restored and not tossed . I have seen some of these repaired and hard to tell they were broke . . Keep her history with her from person you inherited her from. Appears to be in original clothes and that is wonderful.
