An original Dollar watch probably made by Ingersol I believe
Brought to Scotland by a GI and left here The patent nos suggest WW1 time period
The blued case is probably a generic case for many models
A Tweenie was a small cheroot/ cigar that was just big enough or small enough to smoke "Between The Acts" in the intermission
TWEENIES were sold by Black & White cigarette co which was I believe MARKOVITCH
The watch still keeps good time!
Who can tell me where and when and who made this?

A clear photo of the back plate clearly showing the patent dates would help. From what I see, it is an Ingersoll manufactured around 1910.

I have changed the picture of the internal to show patent data and serial no as requested by pw-collector
    3. pw-collector pw-collector, 4 years ago
      Robert H. Ingersoll & Bro. 1881 - 1922
The serial number puts the approximate year of manufacture 1911.

Thanks to PW-Collector for the info on make and year of our Doughboy's watch
Closer inspection of the case reveals a feint impressed mark which seems to read
PAT'D.APR27 1900 but the last figure could be a 0, 4 or a 6 which seems to confirm that the case was indeed generic

I have altered the pictures to show the Tweenie packaging which was contemporary with "Between The Acts" a similar product
